Perfect perfectly clean hotel with accommodating staff who made the stay a very pleasant experience. Well-organised and well-appointed rooms with an electric kettle, central heating and an iron, comfortable beds:)))

My stay was enjoyable, as the breakfast was spot on and the host made me feel right at home, with her warmth and knowledge of the area helping me plan walks to nearby attractions like the beautiful Grove Park and the fine Grand Pier.

Vanessa was super cute. The room had a tv, electric kettle, hairdryer, and free toiletries. The shower was spacious with good water pressure. Breakfast featured perfectly cooked options, including bacon and sausages, and parking was easy. The place was very clean, and I enjoyed the homely vibe. Great spot for a relaxing escape.

The hotel was clean and amazing location, not too far from the town center. The hostess was so friendly. She even made us breakfast early one morning for a wedding. The king room was light, airy, and so comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were replenished for our second morning too.

The place was super clean and easy to access, and the hostess was friendly. She even went out of her way to prepare my breakfast early on Saturday. The room was light, airy, and super comfortable. Parking was easy, and the location was ideal for amenities.

Perfect place for a short getaway
The room was super clean and cozy. Breakfast options were fab, I loved the special diet choices. Vanessa, the owner, was just the best, so helpful and friendly. Only bummer was the shower being a bit hit or miss with the hot water. Would totally stay here again!

Family with children paradise
The breakfasts were very nice, like those sausages, they were the best I've had in years! Vanessa was so cute, always ready to chat.
It wasn't exactly dirt cheap but it was within reason for what we got.

I enjoyed my stay at Fernlea Guest House. Vanessa's hospitality. Clean, spacious room provided true comfort. The only downside was the distance from the town center. A 40-minute walk can be a stretch after a late night out. An excellent choice for a relaxed getaway.

The guest house had secure scooter parking, and the breakfast was spot on. Vanessa, and the decor was on point. Definitely recommend this spot for a chill getaway.
The only downside was that the place was a bit of a trek from the seafront, around a 45-minute walk, but there are buses available.

Couldn't recommend more for a city break
Really good room, excellent breakfast, with refreshing coffee brewed fresh every morning and easy access to the beach only a short walk away.

Shower temperature inconsistent!!! WiFi connection slow!!! A longer walk to the town center would significantly improve accessibility!!! Lack of USB charging ports felt outdated!!! Paper thin walls made it hard to have privacy!!!
